Fresh from the last day of School-Based Experience

I watched the L6 students talking about their exams, their targets and how they would fully utilise the half term break by dividing time between leisure and books.
Suddenly I missed the times when I often reminded myself of the targets I was aiming for, and the constant drive to strive for more achievements. But that just seemed so long ago.
Why is there a tinge of sadness in that thought?
